    To launch its Bootleg Series, Rollo Press* will republish and redistribute an out-of-print manual of utopian architecture from 1974, Ken Isaacs’ How To Build Your Own Living Structures. The book contains numerous instructions on how to build furniture, small houses and even vehicles using basic tools and materials. Its focus on simplicity and resultant independence draws a parallel to the working method of Rollo Press. Making these manuals re-accessible mirrors their do-it-yourself approach.

    *Rollo Press is a small print studio located in Zürich, operated by Urs Lehni since 2008. Their only printing machine is an old Risograph GR 3770. Rollo Press produces printed matter with friends and accomplices through every step of the process: from concept to design to printing to binding to distribution.
