Will Holder is less interested in documentation and morethan in scoring and composition as a set of instructions for the articulation of ng language, and language’ s relationship to a sculptural, 3-three-dimensional space.

He recently co-edited and designed Agapê and Intersections with Alex Waterman, Miguel Abreu Gallery and The Kitchen (NYC): two investigations into the social implications of collective reading, writing and scoring from the late 60s until today. Holder and Waterman are currently working on a monograph of composer Robert Ashley in the form of an operatic scores. He is also editor (with Dieter Roelstraete and Ann Demeester) and designer of F.R.DAVID, de Appel’s journal based on reading and writing in the arts.
