Urs Hofer lives and works in Zurich and Berlin and graduated with an M.A. in film and media science from Zurich University. In his work as a freelance programmer and designer, he tries to combines computing technologies technology and with media, such as video, audio or the Internet, in most varied ways. Recently his focus has shifted to database- generated landscapes, dramaturgies and design.
