Laurenz Brunner is a Swiss graphic designers living and working in Amsterdam. Hhe studied graphic design at Central Saint Martins, London and Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam. Brunner is a member of the Swiss type foundry Lineto and teaches at Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam. Projects include The Most Beautiful Swiss Books, Casco – Office for Art, Design and Theory, Kunst Halle St. Gallen, Centre Culturel Suisse, and Tate ETC. magazine (in collaboration with Cornel Windlin). His work has been published in numerous books and publications including IDEA Magazine, Tokyo and Phaidon Press, US. Lectures and workshops include Yale, US; CalArts, US; ECAL, CH; and Gerrit Rietveld Academiey, NL. He has been awarded the Albert Klijn Prize and the Swiss Federal Design Grant.
