Hoon Kim is a Korean graphic designer based in New York City and an adjunct faculty member of Rhode Island School of Design, USA. Kim has worked for the Museum of Modern Art, Practise, Samsung Design Membership, and Crosspoint, across various media including printed matter, branding, exhibition design, short films, and websites. His current research attempts to visualise soundscapes in the public sphere. Kim holds an MFA from RISD and a BFA from Seoul National University, Korea. He was a recipient of The Next Generation Design Leader award supported by the Korean Institute of Design Promotion.
